Long Time, No See!

Hi everybody!

Sorry I took a little hiatus there for a minute.  I've been into a lot!

 Here's what I wore on Valentine's Day!
I've had this tie dye dress for years, and I've only pulled it out one other time for Halloween.  I decided it was time to bust it out this past February 14th!  I also made that flower crown that I'm wearing.  I'm pretty proud of it.

I'm absolutely obsessed with my new Betty Bright lipstick from Mac.  My sister bought it for me, just because!

My dad bought me a sketch book a while back, and I've finally gotten around to using it.  I decorated it, and drew a few quick drawings.

As you all know,  I've been collecting these small Modella clutches that I've found at Walmart.  Well, I finally got around to decorating them!  I Gorilla Glue-d small daisies on the clear/black clutch, and for the pink one, I used a bow that came with a perfume set I got for Valentine's Day!  I also made another floral headband with a ribbon instead of wire, like I usually do.

For the purple one, I used heart-shaped 5-prong studs that I purchased from EatSleepCraft on Etsy!

Now I only have two left to DIY!

Lastly, I've started a portrait of my grandfather.  I use the Chuck Close approach with squares, but I put my own little twist on it by scribbling with a 6B pencil instead of painting!
I'm hoping to finish this picture (which is his high school senior picture) and begin on a picture of him now, in his eighties!

Well, that's about it! You're all caught up!

Treat Yourself Tuesday: Pink Edition

Since I didn't get to have a TYST last week, I went all out yesterday and treated myself to a few different things!

This is the first thing I treated myself to:
As some of you may know, I've become completely obsessed with these Modella see-through bags.  I think they might be for makeup or lipstick or something, but I use them as clutch purses.  I don't think I posted a picture of my collection, so here it is:

The second thing I treated myself to was velvet lipstick from a new brand called Flower.  I'm not sure if it's through Covergirl or not, but it was in their section.  I'm completely in love with this lipstick.
The color is actually more of a hot pink like this:

The final things I treated myself to are two new nail polishes that I thought were perfect for Valentine's Day!
The color on the left is by Pure Ice and is called "Keep Walking," and the one on the right is by Revlon and is called "Girly."  I mixed it up a little bit and used both on my fingers.  Here's how:
